Information about the Emergency Flood Group
Ulleskelf is very close to the River Wharfe and from time to time this can flood. However, you can tell the strength of the community when they come together, in moments of need. Ulleskelf now has a fleet of pumps that provide long-term self-protection from flooding should the situation arise. The Ulleskelf Emergency Flood group carry out emergency planning and pump maintenance.
