Do you want to find out and discuss the answers? Dr Talya Hackett, bat specialist and lecturer in ecology at the University of Leeds is coming to Ulleskelf to take us on an interactive nighttime walk through the village. We will have a number of bat detectors that you can use to find and listen to the species that we will encounter. With the help of a ‘human bat’ Talya will explain how bats call and how the detectors can help you hear them, while also discussing every aspect of bats that you care to ask about.

Dress for the weather, wear footwear that you don’t mind getting muddy, bring a torch.

Open to everyone, suitable for all ages and abilities, and free to attend.
